In 1971, The Alpha Wives Club of Montgomery County, Incorporated (“ Alpha Wives Club ”), a charitable 501(c)(3) organization, was organized as an auxiliary of Iota Upsilon Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Since 1971, the Alpha Wives Club has contributed close to $250,000 to numerous civic and charitable organizations, and provided scholarships for academically talented students attending colleges and universities.
